LEDs are energy efficient, durable and environmentally friendly.
LEDs provide white light with natural color rendering, while scattered light and the brightening of the sky are avoided.
LEDs require little maintenance and are resistant to vibrations. LEDs reach their brightness immediately after being switched on and they can be dimmed without any problems.
We consistently use the possibilities that LEDs offer for the benefit of our customers. We have therefore developed an LED module, the LiteEngine II/II.

Almost all lights can also be supplied with the LiteEngine II/II. The LiteEngine II/II can be flexibly adapted to the respective requirements.
The standard versions are equipped with 12, 18, 24 and 30 high-performance LEDs in two light colors.
The LEDs are designed in the light colors warm white (2700 K) and neutral white (4000 K) and deliver a luminous flux of up to 3900 lm.
These LEDs differ in terms of light color, color rendering and luminous efficiency. In addition to the standard light colors, special fittings are possible on request.
Maintenance
Our luminaires are easy to maintain. The daytime appearance is unique. These principles were consistently pursued in the development of the LiteEngine II and III.
Here, the entire module can be exchanged with just a few simple steps. Retrofitting existing lights is also possible without any problems.

Heat dissipation:
The Trapp-LiteEngine has a sophisticated thermal management system to maintain the service life of the LEDs and the power supply units.
More than 50,000 operating hours are guaranteed.
This guarantee extends to a luminous flux retention of 70% or a total failure.
Availability guarantee
For every LED luminaire, we guaranteed the availability of a LiteEngine with the same or better data than the original LiteEngine.

We have pursued this goal with all products and also implements it with the LiteEngine II/II.
Sodium vapor is a robust and reliable light. But the LiteEngine II/II need not shy away from the comparison.
With the same illumination, energy savings of 50-70% are achieved when using the LiteEngine II/II. And that with the same or greater spacing of the luminaires.

Of course, all LiteEngines have an active power factor correction to reduce the reactive power in the network.

The use of LEDs in street lighting leads to considerable energy savings compared to conventional lighting.
This, however, not all options have been exhausted.
We consistently uses the possibilities that LEDs offer. The LiteEngine II/II has many operating modes that lead to further energy savings.
All our LiteEngines have already integrated the key to saving.
With the AutoSave dimming system, the power consumption of the lights can be reduced.
Automatically, every night and without a control line.
But also the classic power reduction by means of a control line / half-night switching (EasySave) to 70% or 50% is possible.
The selection is made using a rotary switch, a programming device is not required.
Modes of operation
Standard operating mode:
Rotary switch in position 0: Classic operation
All existing LEDs light up with the factory-set brightness of 100%.
EasySave operating mode: Rotary switch in position 1 and 2:
Twilight switching
The luminaire is equipped with an EasySave module or, if required, can be retrofitted by the customer at any time.
The control takes place centrally by means of a control line (half-night or separate control wire).

The luminaire can also be operated without the Easy Save module. In this case there is a permanent reduction in output to 50% or 70%.
AutoSave operating mode:

In addition to the EasySave operating mode, the LiteEngine II/III has another option for saving energy. AutoSave automatically reduces the output of the luminaire.
There are 12 different reduction profiles available for 70%, 50% or a combination thereof.
The entire lighting system is switched on and off using a timer or twilight switch. The GBS LiteEngine measures the duty cycle and saves it. Halfway through the on-time, a so-called “artificial midnight” is assumed.
Depending on the chosen professional, a lowering professional is driven through based on this artificial midnight.
In order to achieve maximum ease of use, the LiteEngine II/II has a total of 12 AutoSave Profie. The professional is selected using a rotary switch.

In this switch position, an energy saving of 38% is achieved.
The GBS LiteEngine does not need a real-time clock to set it, but calculates all switching points from the duty cycle. This means that the lowering professional adapts to the season. The data is stored in a non-volatile memory.
A backup battery or similar is not required.
